Zip Maine! The Newest Maine Thing To Do!!
Zip Maine! Ziplining Maine is fast becoming the new Maine Thing To Do!!

Ziplining, which gained popularity in the jungles of Costa Rica, Hawaii is now here in Maine, and why not, the serene beauty of the Maine Summer from above is just as breathtaking.
Now there are three locations to Zip in Maine..
Sugarloaf has just installed a new Zipline Course.
Wiscassett just opened a Zip/Ropes Course with Monkey C Monkey Do.
Sunday River just opened a wicked awesome Zip!
Flying around never looked so good.
Sugarloafs’, Zip Course begins at the top of the Skidway Lift, over the Rookie River through the trees at 20mph.
Participants are outfitted with mountain climbing harnesses and helmets, and a strict protocol is used to prepare zippers for the ride. A tether is attached from the participant’s harness to a wheeled trolley that rides on the zip cable. The gate opens, the zipper takes a giant step and presto, no earthly restraints.
The requirements are simple: You must be at least 60 lbs, 3 ft and weigh less than 275 pounds to participate.
Wiscassetts’ Monkey C Monkey Do requirements,.. 4 years old and older. Participants under 48 inches are restricted to the “Young Monkey Course”, while those over 48 inches may, but do not have to, access the full course.
At Sunday River..
- Tours are available at 9am, 12pm and 3pm Thursday to Sunday through September 5 plus Monday, September 6, then Friday to Sunday through October 10 plus Monday, October 11. Additional tours can be scheduled for groups of 6 or more - please call.
