Experience the “Maine Culinary Trail”

picture-19

Maine has its museum trail, golf trail, brewers trail and shopping and biking trails. Of course it’s got its Appalachian Hiking Trail. Now, if you’re hungry for authentic culinary and cultural experiences in Maine, try the “Culinary Trail”. You’re invited to feed on the trail at Maine’s most delicious restaurants and fabulous neighborhood taverns, native hole-in-the-wall favorites and up-and-coming food and drink gems. The Food Trail is suitable for all age groups, all fitness levels, highly experienced foodies and food-curious travelers. Travel Maine’s Food Trail on your next journey to our great state.

There’s no official “Maine Culinary Trail,” the idea of a “Culinary Trail’ just seems like a fitting name for an eating journey, from one Maine town to the next.

What we have in Maine is a group of culinary geniuses who pour an immense amount of love and affection, and passion, into their work. You find it in York, Ogunquit and Kennebunkport, Greater Portland, Brunswick and Bath, Rockland and Camden, on Deer Isle and in Bar Harbor. Also amazing culinary experiences are to be found in Bangor and Waterville, in Bethel, Bridgton and Lewiston. Start eating your way though Maine. Get going! And give me a call if you get lost. I’d be happy to direct you to your next favorite place to eat in Maine.
