Acadia
FEES
Visiting Acadia National Park requires payment of an entrance fee between May 1 and October 31, no matter how you enter or where you go in the park.
There is a fee for a few additional activities, including camping and some ranger-led programs (most are free). Be sure to visit Operating Hours & Seasons to find out when the campgrounds are open and programs are offered.
Camping (per site per night)
Blackwoods Campground: $20 (May 1-October 31), $10 (April and November), free (December 1-March 31)
Seawall Campground: $14 walk-in, $20 drive-in (when open)
Ranger-Led Programs - All other programs are free.
Beyond the Beach: $10 adults, $5 children 5-12, free under 5
Knowing the Night: $10 adults, $5 children 8-12
Riding the Roads: $15 adults, $10 youth 14-16
Boat Cruises: Prices vary; check with boat operators.
All visitors who enter Acadia National Park between May 1 and October 31 are required to pay an entrance fee, no matter how they enter or where they go in the park. Entrance fees may be paid in the following locations:
Entrance Station (north of Sand Beach on the Park Loop Road)
Hulls Cove Visitor Center
Park Headquarters
Blackwoods and Seawall Campgrounds
Thompson Island Information Center
Bar Harbor Village Green
There are a number of different options for paying your entrance fee: Check out the Acadia National Park passes and the national passes listed below. Educational fee waivers may be available to groups that meet specified criteria.
Eighty percent of all fees paid in the park stay in the park to be used for projects that directly benefit park visitors and resources. We thank you for your support!
Acadia Annual Pass. A new winning design is chosen each year from entries in a contest for local schoolchildren.
ACADIA NATIONAL PARK PASSES
Entrance Pass - $20 June 23-early October; $10 May 1-June 22 and early October-October 31
Good for entrance into Acadia National Park for one vehicle for seven days, including the date of purchase.
Individual Entrance Pass - $5
Good for entrance into Acadia National Park for one individual (pedestrian, motorcycle, bicycle, etc.) for seven days, including date of purchase.
Acadia Annual Pass - $40
Good for entrance into Acadia National Park for one vehicle for one year from date of purchase.
